On May 18, 2021, the General Assembly of the United Nations designated 2022 as the International Year of Glass, and invited all Member States, organizations of the United Nations system, international and regional organizations, civil society organizations, the private sector and academia to celebrate this International Year of Glass in order to raise awareness and draw attention to the importance of glass in our daily lives.
In this context, the Department of Physics, with the contribution of the Laboratory for the Development of New and Renewable Energies in Dry and Desert Regions (LENREZA) and the Laboratory of Radiation, Plasma and Surface Physics (LRPPS), organizes a scientific day on glass and its applications, in November 23-24, 2022 at the Faculty of Mathematics and Material Sciences.
